The SP is a “people’s party of the broad middle,” said the top official in St. Pölten. “The goal of a coalition must always be to implement as much social democratic content as possible for the vast majority. And on this issue, our hand is stretched out in all directions,” emphasized Zwander. He also alluded to a collaboration in the direction of FP – that was not ruled out, he said.
For early elections
If Zwander has his way, the National Council election should take place before the summer. “I believe the people of Austria deserve to have this government go into new elections before the summer.”
