30 universities, technical colleges, colleges of education and study advice centers from Austria and neighboring Bavaria will send representatives to Braunau on Monday, February 12th, to provide information about the respective studies and advice offers. Anyone interested is welcome on this day. From 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. the representatives will be available to answer questions, many of them are themselves graduates of the HTL or the neighboring HLW in Braunau.
“Unfortunately, in some fields of study, around 50 percent of beginners still drop out of a course because they realize that it was the wrong choice. By providing targeted information and the opportunity to deal with different scenarios, we want this failure rate to be at least among our students “You should make your decision well informed and then, if possible, stick with it because it was the right one,” says Karin Gaisbauer.
The educational consultant has been organizing the annual study information exchange at the HTL Braunau since 2020. The advisory services in the auditorium are supplemented by additional lectures in which the individual facilities are introduced in more detail. “In this way, we ensure that the students can get an overall overview of the extremely large range of courses available in Austria and Bavaria,” emphasizes Gaisbauer.
