The internationally renowned charity concert organized by the Lions Club Bad Leonfelden was a resounding success “Philharmonix” in the Brucknerhaus in Linz. With around 1,000 visitors, not only was the donation box well filled: the concert also became a meeting place for Lions from all over Upper Austria.

Among those present were district governor Manfred E. Holzinger from Enns, his deputy Hubert Hartl from Neufelden and zone chairwoman Inge Windischhofer from the Lions Club Pregarten-Aisttal. Also seen: the former multiple district chairmen Alfred Hrusca (LC Perg) and Albert Ettmayer (LC Rohrbach Böhmerwald).

Concentrated over this “Lion presence” said President Harald Traxler and Vice President Markus Obermüller from the Kurstadt Lions, who had organized the concert thanks to their personal contacts. In order to be able to afford the ensemble consisting of professionals from the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the hall rent in the Brucknerhaus, the Lions also attracted a number of powerful sponsors from the Hochreiter Group, Kapl Bau, the Raiffeisenbank Bad Leonfelden and other companies.
