The Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis wants to take over the German biotech company Morphosys for 2.7 billion euros: The plans that were announced this week have also boosted the cancer specialist’s share price – making Morphosys the top performer in the OÖN stock market game in cooperation with Raiffeisen Upper Austria. Since the start of the game, the share price has risen by 83.48 percent.
All securities that can be ordered in the stock market game can be found on the website oon-boersespiel.at. Participation is possible at any time until March 20th. More than 5,600 participants are already registered in the adult classification. On Friday, Margit Kleebinder was ahead with an increase in her portfolio of 24.27 percent. More than 2,600 students are taking part: Laurenz Vierlinger from HTBLA Linz 1 is in the lead (+ 18.31 percent). The most successful class is currently the HAK/HAS Linz-Auhof (+13.20 percent).
Great prizes await the winners: The main prize of the stock market game is a car – a Suzuki Swift Hybrid clear worth 16,990 euros, provided by Kepler-Fonds KAG and Auto Günther.
The main prize for the students is a Hrinkow E-Force FS Shimano e-bike worth 5249 euros, provided by the OÖN.
The best school class gets to go to a LASK home game in the Raiffeisen Arena, including meals worth 2,000 euros.
