In Tyrol, Erwin Zangerl’s dominant VP unionists (FCG) achieved 59.2 percent, a decrease of 2.2 percentage points, while the SP unionists (FSG) achieved 18.8 percent (-0.9) . The FP unions (FA) increased from 8.7 to 12.4 percent. The picture is similar in Vorarlberg: There too, the FCG holds first place with 42.4 percent (-4.9), the FSG has 28.1 percent (-2.1), the FP employees have 14.4 percent ( +6.5).
Red plus in Salzburg
In Salzburg, on the other hand, the red unionists of the FSG around AK President Peter Eder were able to make gains. They came to 69 percent. This is an increase of 4.0 percentage points compared to the 2019 election. The FCG achieved 10.9 percent (-3.4) in Salzburg, the FP unions 10.1 (-2.1).
In Upper Austria, the AK election will take place from March 5th to 18th. Here the SP unionists achieved a result of 71 percent in 2019.
