More and more videos are appearing of car drivers who were driving with such glasses and did not have their hands on the steering wheel.

The US Department of Transportation has responded to video footage of Tesla drivers wearing one of the new computer glasses with an urgent warning. “Reminder: All advanced driver assistance systems available today require that the driver maintain control at all times,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg wrote on Platform X.

Apple’s Vision Pro has built-in cameras that can capture the environment and transmit it to displays in front of your eyes. In the rules of use, the US company emphasizes that under no circumstances should you drive a vehicle with the glasses.

Tesla itself emphasizes that the system does not turn the cars into self-driving cars. However, there were always cases in which drivers relied too much on the technology.
