The Broad Front must win to prevent a new Herrero government, according to Fernando Pereira

He president of the Frente Amplio (FA), Fernando Pereiracalled on the Broad Front militants to tour the neighborhoods to win in October and ensure that one of the four presidential candidates of the political force prevents the arrival of a new “Herrerista” government.

Within the framework of the 53rd anniversary of the founding of the FA, last Sunday the party leader called the Uruguayan right as “the only radical thing in the country”, which generates proposals that are “atrocious”, such as the initiative to “remove “to send soldiers to the streets” in support tasks with the Police or “the night raids.”

Likewise, Pereira polarized the electoral contest with the ruling party, referring directly to the presidential candidate of the National Party (PN), Álvaro Delgadowhom he described as “the Herrerista” and “the candidate with the dark photo”, due to the colors chosen for his campaign images through social networks.

“Calculate the fear that the one in the dark photo will have,” Pereira told those present in reference to Delgado and the power of mobilization that the FA had for the celebration of its anniversary. “They are nervous because the polls give the FA 44% and 45%,” he insisted.

“The FA is the main political force in the country for its capacity for mobilization, for its capacity for proposals, for having built a program tailored to the people,” he said.

“On the other side, Delgado and his photography in the dark”

“On the other hand, Delgado’s project, of that photograph in the dark and a double click, which can be seen as, if you didn’t like the soup, two dishes,” Pereira attacked the nationalist’s campaign logo.

The Frente Amplista went further and indicated that another victory for the PN and the Multicolor Coalition will mean “two plates of salary reduction, two plates of freezing of minimum pensions, two plates of unemployed young people, two plates of the lack of medicines in hospitals and two plates of the mess they have done in the case of Marset and Astesiano”.

“A (former) advisor to the president who took the dark photo and who tore up a file to lie to the president Parliamentto lie to the Justicebut above all, to lie to the Uruguayans,” he stated, pointing against the former presidential communications advisor, Roberto Laflufwho deleted a document containing chats between the former undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Guillermo Maciel and Carolina Achethe former vice-chancellor, about Sebastian Marsetmain Uruguayan drug trafficker.
