According to the NFL, the live broadcast on TV and streaming reached an average of 123.4 million people. This represents an increase of seven percent compared to last year’s finale between the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, which was watched by 115.1 million people.

CBS alone, which broadcast the game on traditional television, recorded an average of 120 million viewers. The match was also broadcast in the USA by Nickelodeon and the Spanish-language channel Univision. According to the service provider Nielsen, the extension was followed by 202.4 million people.
This year’s Super Bowl generated particular attention not only because of the sporting situation. In particular, the relationship between Chiefs player Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift had been making headlines for weeks beforehand.
