“Every year the carnival season is an absolute highlight for the people entrusted to us,” says Sandra Wiesinger, managing director of the Hartheim Institute. This year the carnival festival started again at the Hartheim Institute with a samba parade through the entire building, and then the celebrations really took place in the gymnasium: with music, dancing, drinks and carnival doughnuts. Around 200 guests were present – from kindergarten children to people with disabilities and their carers. “It’s a good feeling that the people entrusted to us can really celebrate and have fun here. Their smiles and laughter are simply priceless,” says Wiesinger.
