The man, who is said to be 30 to 40 years old, struck on January 29th, February 6th and February 13th. The victims managed to escape each time. However, in two cases the perpetrator also threatened with a cutter knife. One of the women even suffered a cut, police said on Wednesday.
Women could break away
The man always wore dark clothing and struck in the evenings. He attacked the women, aged 25, 27 and 39, touched them in their private parts and dragged them from the footpath into a hidden area. There, according to police, he tried to perform sexual acts on them. All three managed to break away and escape. The 25-year-old suffered a cut on her hand from the cutter knife.
The suspect is believed to be of Arab origin. He is 1.65 to 1.75 meters tall and slim. He has black hair, a dark beard and thick eyebrows. Based on the victims’ descriptions, investigators are now assuming a serial perpetrator.
