The senator and presidential candidate for the Frente Amplio (FA), Mario Bergaracriticized the government on economic matters and accused the current administration of generating “the greatest exchange rate delay of the century” from the free floating policy of the exchange rate.
In the last few hours, within the framework of an event to relaunch his electoral campaign, the Frente Amplista candidate asked for greater intervention from the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU) in the exchange market, with the aim of achieving a dollar more competitive.
