Stadl-Paura: 11-year-old hit by car and thrown through the air

According to witnesses, the 11-year-old may have crossed the street between vehicles stopped at the traffic lights and missed the car of a 48-year-old in the other lane who was traveling from Bad Wimsbach towards Stadl-Paura. According to police, the driver was unable to stop in time despite braking hard. The student was hit by the vehicle and thrown several meters through the air.

Passers-by immediately rushed to the 11-year-old’s aid and took the first steps. After emergency medical care, the seriously injured boy was taken to the Wels Clinic.
