At 4:18 p.m., the Hirschbach firefighters received the alarm: Two cars had collided in the intersection area on the B38, Böhmerwaldstrasse, near the airport. According to initial information, 3 people were injured to an unspecified degree and were being treated by the Red Cross. Together with the police, the Hirschbach Volunteer Fire Department secured the scene of the accident, and the FF Freistadt, which had been alerted, arrived with a crane truck to recover the car that had been catapulted into the embankment.
