There is still the opportunity to ski in Upper Austria – as planned – until April 7th. Until then, the Hinterstoder and Wurzeralm ski areas are still open. There are currently “great conditions” from 1,000 meters and higher, says Helmut Holzinger, board director of the two ski areas. The snow cover at the middle station is 50 to 70 centimeters thick. “The slopes are very compact, it picked up well the night before yesterday,” says Holzinger.
