The weather report for Upper Austria next week offers a colorful mix: “In principle, everything is there,” says meteorologist Josef Haslhofer from Geosphere Austria. “The holidays won’t be wonderful, but you definitely won’t have to sit in the living room for a week.”

After sunshine and temperatures of up to 14 degrees on Sunday, the week starts rather cloudy but warm: a northwesterly current brings moist air from the Atlantic to us, in the morning it is cloudy and rainy throughout the state.
In the afternoon the focus of precipitation shifts to the southern mountains; in the Mühlviertel and the lowlands the cloud cover may loosen up occasionally. The maximum temperatures are 7 to 11 degrees, but it will feel significantly cooler due to wind peaks of up to 60 km/h.

Wednesday brings variety
