In his meeting with Mondino, Wang assured that “China respects the elections of the Argentine people” and expressed his conviction that Argentina “has the capacity to overcome the current temporary difficulties and to take the path of development and revitalization as soon as possible.”

Mondino recalled that China is the second largest trading partner and economic development of Argentina and stated that both countries are “highly complementary” in their development, with “great potential” for cooperation.
