A 27-year-old was traveling on the B 147 towards Straßwalchen on Sunday afternoon without a driver’s license and with a stolen license plate.

And that’s not all. In the local area of Friedburg, the driver suddenly started to overtake a car in front of him, even though a column of cars on the opposite lane was already far too close.
The 27-year-old’s car crashed head-on into the car of a German pensioner couple. The 71-year-old driver and his wife, who was riding in the passenger seat, were injured in the head-on collision. Both were taken to the Salzburg State Hospital by the Straßwalchen rescue team.

According to the police, the person who caused the accident complained of slight pain in the chest area, but refused medical attention and a trip to the hospital.
