Where else there is hustle and bustle, there is now peace and quiet. Whether mobile phone consultation, dance meeting point, knitting session or afternoon singing – all events are “unfortunately canceled”. Judith Asamer (47), who has been the head of the senior citizen center for a few months, reports that the corona lockdown is a heavy blow for regular guests. “That bothered her very much.” Asamer took over management from Gabi Reither in spring and has just completed the spring program. “Hopefully we can open again in January.”
Asamer was previously the leader of singing circles in the health sector and switched to working with people. “I want to keep the respectful and caring togetherness here in the house,” she emphasizes. Together with Petra Haas and many voluntary helpers, she would also like to ensure that in the future joy of life, enjoyment and fun can be felt again and that everyone feels welcome. (gh)
