The man was accused of killing his mother’s boyfriend in June last year. The victim died as a result of numerous stab wounds. The suspect initially fled, but was soon caught. In addition to the sentence, he was ordered to be sent to a forensic therapeutic center.
The crime was committed in the apartment of a 59-year-old who lived with her boyfriend in an apartment building in Zeltweg (Murtal district). The woman’s son probably had a heated argument with the 49-year-old.

When the police arrived, they found the man covered in blood, for whom help came too late. Dozens of stab wounds were discovered on the victim, and the son still had the murder weapon with him when he was arrested. The defendant was heavily intoxicated and may also have been under the influence of drugs.
The 24-year-old was found guilty of murder and will also be admitted to a forensic therapeutic center. The judgment is not final.
