The initiative aims to meet the needs of the dairy sector, especially of those small producers who need help within the framework of a not very favorable context – marked by a drop in exports and union conflicts – for them through a non-refundable fund of 6.3 million dollars.

The keys to the project
Assistance would be non-refundable fund of 6.3 million dollars that would be divided into three bands. The first corresponds to producers of less than 500 liters per day, the second to those who produce between 500 and 1,000 liters of milk per day and the third to those who produce between 1,000 and 2,000 liters.
Within the first band there are more than 500 producers, who would receive a benefit of $2 per liter if the measure is approved. These are followed by those in the second band, which total almost 400 producers who would benefit from $1.5 per liter per day. As for those who produce between 1,000 and 2,000, they would be given $1 per liter.
Meanwhile, that same Thursday the Inale authorities presented the price outlook for this year. “There is some margin, if the conditions continue to exist, to be able to improve 3 or 4 points (%) more,” Cabrera established based on the presentation of the institute in relation to the signals provided by the international market.
For its part, since Conaprole They assured that, if the project is approved, and when the official listings of small producers, will proceed to advance the money to their senders.
