The young Hartkirchner actor Hannes Schmid is in a somewhat dubious role in the season finale of the “Mountain doctor” on Wednesday, February 21st at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2. The focus is on the married couple Karla and Markus Jenner, who have just become parents of twins. Short film and theater tour
For the Upper Austrian, it’s after the lead role in the RTL evening series “All that counts” (2021) the next big TV appearance. A lot has happened in the meantime, says the 33-year-old, who lives in Berlin with his partner, the actress Luisa Wietzorek. As director and leading actor, he made the short film with Florian Noever “Limbo” in Burgenland: “The film was well received and screened at several festivals”says Schmid. Last year he toured with the “Theater guest performances in Fürth” with the piece “Beloved witch” through Germany and Austria.
Hannes Schmid is currently busy with castings. With an international cinema production filming in the UK from June, the chances are good, he says: “I’m in the final selection for a role.”
