The then member of the state parliament took part in a plenary session in November 2021 with a corona infection and may have infected other people. As the investigation revealed, Dieringer-Granza was only informed of her positive test result after the meeting.
“She didn’t know she was positive herself”
“She didn’t know that she was positive,” said authority spokesman Markus Kitz to the APA and confirmed a report in the “Kleine Zeitung” on Wednesday. Her phone number was missing on the contact form, which is why Dieringer-Granza was only contacted later by the health authorities and informed of the positive test result.
The state parliament had rejected a lifting of the MPs’ immunity. Therefore, the investigation could only be started after she left the state parliament.
