Marlen Haushofer’s first edition of his work is presented in the Steyr city library

Till and Marlen Mairhofer, Germanist and expert on Ingeborg Bachmann, and Marlen Haushofer, from the Marlen Haushofer Literaturforum, as well as Petra-Maria Dallinger and Georg Hofer from the Adalbert Stifter Institute, will present the edition of the work on Wednesday, February 28th, at 7 p.m. in the Steyr city library .

This presentation will also cover topics such as “How does an edition of a work come about?”, “What role does Marlen Haushofer play in literary research?” or “The humor in the works of Marlen Haushofer”. “It will be an evening in which the most diverse facets of the writer and her work will be illuminated,” says Michaela Frech, who will moderate the presentation of the first edition of her work.

Admission to the Marlen Haushofer Library in the city of Steyr is free for this event.
