It is thanks to an attentive employee that a fire in an office building in Ansfelden was quickly discovered yesterday evening. A total of four fire departments responded around 6:30 p.m. and the emergency services were able to quickly bring the fire under control. By using high-performance fans, the smoke from the fire was effectively removed from the rooms.
Although it was quickly declared “fire out”, there was considerable damage to the affected office building; the exact amount is not yet known. It is also unclear what caused the fire, but the police are investigating. A person who initially tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher had to be attended to by emergency services.
