“From quiet and dignified to action for the whole family, you can experience everything at the Rieder trade fair spring”says Ried’s trade fair director Helmut Slezak. What with that “50 plus” It started small in 2009 and has established itself as one of the most popular trade fairs over the past 15 years. “The length of stay is very long, the audience is regional and the program is extremely diverse”says Slezak. This year the trade fair spring will take place with the main focuses “Bon appetit”, “50 plus” and “Family happiness” on Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th. “Around 150 exhibitors present a high-quality offering”says trade fair project manager Vita-Theresa Richter-Irsigler. The Oberösterreichische Nachrichten is accompanying the spring trade fair as a media partner.
At the “Bon appetit”-Focus in Halls 15 and 16, gourmets will get their money’s worth. The Genussland Upper Austria has 27 regional producers on site. “We have never been to ‘Guten Appetit’ with such a large selection, variety and quality of producers. Trade fair visitors learn everything about the products and can of course taste them on site. The collaboration with Messe Ried has always been excellent. We are looking forward to having many visitors “says Josef Lehner from Genussland Upper Austria.

The popular cooking shows will not be missing, including the Innviertler award-winning chefs Wolfgang Wohlschlager (Kammer5) and Dominik Bauböck (Gasthof Bauböck) as well as the TV chef Elfriede Schachinger. The wine lounge in Hall 16 with 17 winemakers from Upper Austria, Lower Austria and Styria is open until 9 p.m. on Saturday. Entry is free from 4:30 p.m. An Innviertler winemaker, the Christian winery from Mehrnbach, is also there.
Young and old get their money’s worth at the third Innviertler Games Days in collaboration with the State Youth Department. More than 500 board games can be tested and played, and game teachers are available to answer questions. Family concerts take place in the No Worries Hall on Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m. These are included in the admission price.

Rieder trade fair spring 2024
The fair is open on both Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The wine lounge (Hall 16) leaves the doors open until 9 p.m. on Saturday. Entry on Saturday is free from 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available at full price for ten euros, reduced price: nine euros. Owners of an OÖNcard also receive a discount on the card. Children aged six to twelve pay six euros. There is free entry for children up to the age of five and for children accompanied by an adult upon presentation of the Upper Austrian family card. Discounted online tickets can be purchased at www.messefruehling-ried.at/ticket. Free parking spaces can be found in the exhibition center. A total of around 150 exhibitors invite you to buy, taste and try.
