Two UN peacekeepers were injured in an explosion in Mali. On Tuesday, December 14, the official representative of the Secretary General of the organization, Stephane Dujarrick, said this at a briefing.
“The UN Mission in Mali reported that a peacekeeping patrol was blown up today by an improvised device explosion. According to preliminary data, two peacekeepers were injured, they were sent to a UN hospital, ”Dujarrick said.
Earlier, on December 4, it was reported that at least 31 people were the victims of an attack by militants on a passenger bus in Mali. Eight more people were injured. The attack took place in the east of the country near the city of Bandiagara (Mopti region).
