In Kirchdorf, a cellar break-in occurred around 10 p.m. in which the metal door of a compartment was broken open and two e-bikes were attempted to be stolen. When the police were alerted, a man said that he had surprised three men wearing dark clothing during the break-in, after which they fled in a car with a Linz license plate.
During the search by several police patrols, the wanted car with four occupants was stopped in Kirchdorf. Two 25-year-old Croats from Linz, a 21-year-old Croat from the Linz-Land district and a 41-year-old Croat from Linz were taken to the Kirchdorf police station. The witness was able to clearly identify one of the burglars. The police also found several burglary tools in the vehicle. The men will be reported to the Steyr public prosecutor’s office.
