With the preparation for the spring season, the Rieder kickers will start under the new coach Robert Ibertsberger on Monday, January 3rd, at 3 p.m. in the old Rieder stadium. The first test match is planned for Saturday, January 15, 2 p.m. against second division forward Steyr. On Saturday, January 22nd, 2 p.m., SV Ried will test against Juniors Upper Austria. The Rieder contest the likely last build-up game on Friday, January 28th, 2 p.m. against Amstetten. All three test matches will take place in the athletics stadium. The first competitive game in 2022 is the Cup quarter-final home game against Austria Klagenfurt on Friday, February 4th.
