The two men were playing tennis when the older one suddenly and unexpectedly collapsed on the court. His colleague immediately began resuscitation, which is an internal practice in the police service, reported the state police headquarters.
Brought back to life with a defibrillator
A pensioner present at the site fetched the defibrillator installed in the hall and started the rescue chain. The 69-year-old continued to resuscitate his tennis partner using the defibrillator until vital signs could be determined again. The 76-year-old was then taken to hospital by emergency helicopter.
