The 16-year-old was with a work colleague at a customer in Straßham near Eferding. A 24-year-old from the Eferding district took advantage of this. At around 2 p.m., he stole the 16-year-old employee’s backpack and wallet from the unlocked company bus, which was parked in front of the customer’s house.
But the homeowner observed this from the first floor and informed the 16-year-old. The youngster ran after the thief together with his 23-year-old work colleague. After about a kilometer, the two found the fugitive and held him until the police arrived. During his escape, he threw the 16-year-old’s backpack and wallet at the 16-year-old. The latter, however, was no longer found.
