The fight occurred in front of a bar around 7:50 p.m. when a Dane (25) punched a German (36) in the head and kicked the man who had fallen to the ground in the head with a ski boot. The Dane was arrested, police said on Wednesday.
German was seriously injured
The holidaymakers first got into a verbal argument before the 25-year-old Dane attacked the 36-year-old German. A 28-year-old Dane is said to have also kicked the German with his ski boots as he passed by. He suffered serious injuries. Without caring about the injured man, the two Danes left. After initial treatment, the German was taken to the local Deaconess Hospital.
One arrest, two charges
The 28-year-old Dane is also accused of giving another German (24) several punches. Another Dane (25) is also said to have slightly injured a 37-year-old German with blows. Both victims were taken to the hospital. The main perpetrator was arrested after a short manhunt and taken to the Leoben prison. The other two Scandinavians were reported.
