The British media reported this unanimously on Wednesday after the written verdict was announced. The core issue was whether Harry, who lives in the US, is entitled to the same protections as the rest of the royal family when he travels to his old home of Great Britain. Harry announced his appeal.

The 39-year-old wanted to have a decision by the responsible committee overturned. He had his security status downgraded after the younger son of King Charles III. had resigned his royal duties.
“Inadequate security analysis”
Harry’s lawyer had accused the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures of making its decision to grant the fifth in line to the British throne less protection based on an inadequate security analysis. As a result, Harry’s children are not adequately protected in Great Britain. But he wanted Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2) to feel just as at home there as they did in the USA.
The Home Office, for its part, claims that Harry is receiving tailored arrangements. The High Court in London ruled that the decision was neither unlawful nor “irrational” and that there was no procedural injustice.
Multiple lawsuits
Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan (42) withdrew from the royal family years ago. One reason is the way the British tabloid press treated Meghan. The case is one of several that Harry is conducting in British courts. These include three lawsuits against publishers for illegal information procurement. Harry and other celebrities accuse the media of, among other things, listening to their mailboxes without permission.
