Not enough. In recent days, on this basis, they have sentenced to administrative punishment people who wrote the name of the killed opposition leader on posters. This was reported on Friday evening by the NGO “First Department”, which specializes in political justice, and is based on an instruction from Moscow for this reading.

The renowned NGO referred to judgments in which people were sentenced to administrative arrest after commemorative events because of the use of the surname “Nawalny”.
Banned organizations
The reason for this was that the politician’s first name and surname referred to extremist and banned organizations such as the “Nawalny Staff”, “Fund to Fight Corruption” (FBK) and “Fund for the Protection of Civil Rights” (FSPG) and that’s why itself can be seen as extremist symbolism.

Specifically, such cases occurred in Chelyabinsk, Krasnodar, Murmansk and Ulyanovsk, according to the broadcast. There can therefore be no talk of “local excesses”. “The court decisions show that this ruling practice occurs in different regions. This means one thing: there is a written order from above,” commented Yevgeny Smirnov, one of the lawyers from the First Department.
