The 18-year-old was traveling from Mettmach towards Ried on the Oberinnviertel state road L 503 on Friday morning around 7:25 a.m.
In Mettmach he lost control in a long curve, went onto the shoulder and skidded at a company entrance.
There his car was levered out by a concrete base and crashed into the truck of a waiting long-distance driver at the remaining speed (42). He had to be taken to hospital injured. The driver of the accident remained uninjured.
