SKY will launch flights from Montevideo to Miami via Lima in May

The Chilean low-cost airline will offer three weekly frequencies that will depart from Uruguay and another three from the United States.

Chilean low-cost airline SKY will launch new flights from Montevideo to Miami (United States) via Lima Peru) on May 1, offering three weekly frequencies that will depart from Uruguay and three others who will do so from the North American country.

The trans-Andean airline will have three weekly frequencies, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Montevideo, and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from Miami.

The commercial director of the airline, Carmen Gloria Serratstated that starting with the connection available in May, they will become the only low cost to connect both cities.

The announcement coincides with a time when the government seeks to expand the country’s air connectivity. “We are very happy to continue strengthening our proposal in Uruguay“said Serrat.

For these first flights and until March 7, the low cost will offer introductory rates ranging from $538 to fly round trip, including taxes and fees, applicable for trips between May 1 and June 30 .

SKY will double the frequencies between Montevideo and Lima

On the other hand, the company announced that starting in July it will double the frequencies between Montevideo and Lima, which will go from three to six on a weekly basis.

To the flights to this destination you must add those offered to Santiago, Chile) and Salvador de Bahia (Brazil)which have been offered since January, when SKY returned to the country.
