Robbery in Vienna: 5 girls suspected of the crime

At the crime scene in the Reumannplatz area, the young people are said to have asked the victim to hand over his jacket. The 15-year-old was then punched and kicked and her jacket and fanny pack were taken away. 3 suspects who were under criminal responsibility were reported, 2 are still underage, and child and youth welfare services were informed.

According to police, the robbery was committed on the evening of January 3rd. “As part of the investigation by the Vienna State Criminal Police Office, Robbery – Youth investigation area, all the girls suspected of the crime were identified by name and questioned,” said police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger. These are Austrian, Syrian and Romanian citizens between the ages of 13 and 15. The victim was slightly injured at the time.
