The mayor of Montevideo and presidential candidate for the Broad Front (FA), Carolina Cosseconfirmed that she would be “delighted” to share the presidential ticket with the former mayor of Canelones Yamandú Orsi once the results of the internal elections on June 30 are known.

In an interview on Channel 10, the Frente Amplista candidate, who is on unpaid leave until July 8, noted that throughout her political career she has always been “where the FA wants her to be.”

Along the same lines, he stated that if he had to win “Yamandu (Orsi) would be an excellent vice president” and that, if she came second overall, “I would be delighted to be vice president,” as long as the Wide Front decide it. “I am not going to impose any conditions on the FA, and that is the important thing,” he said in this regard.
