According to the document, the state telephone company obtained 10,074 million pesos of Profits during last year, about 251 million dollars. Another piece of information that emerges from the balance is the number of officials that the state company had at the end of the year. In this sense, it is detailed that the average number of officials was 6,223, compared to the 6,507 that had been registered in 2021. This implied expenses for salaries, benefits and social security costs of 10,582 million pesos – 260 million dollars—for the company over the past year.
Likewise, the telephone company had net operating income for 41,176 million pesos, a figure higher than that of 2021, mainly through its main businesses: mobile telephony billing (20,123 million pesos), data services (17,070 million pesos) and landline telephony (5,676 million pesos) .
In the case of fixed telephony, there was a reduction in income compared to 2021, while mobile and data services showed an increase. Other minor items were established in the accounting balance as “Other income” and “Other services”, which between both concepts totaled 1,090 million pesos —27 million dollars.
