“Person in distress” was the operational order for the Wels Volunteer Fire Department on Wednesday afternoon in the Vogelweide district of Wels. At a height of around 1.5 meters, a child got his leg stuck in a fork of a branch and was no longer able to free himself.
The helpers sawed off one of the branches and got the child from the tree. The Red Cross then took care of the child.
