The “WeBuild” energy saving trade fair began yesterday with the first specialist day at the Wels trade fair. The balance is positive, says trade fair director Robert Schneider: “Compared to last year, we are pleased with an increase in visitors of eight percent – a tailor-made start to the trade fair.”

Today, WeBuild is still reserved for trade visitors, but from tomorrow the exhibition halls will be open to the public: from Friday to Sunday, the 380 exhibitors in the three exhibition halls will provide visitors with comprehensive information on the topic of saving energy in building and living.

The offering is divided into three large thematic blocks: Hall 20 is dedicated to heating, electricity and energy. Here you can find information about the different forms of heating, renewable energy and e-mobility.

Hall 21 is primarily dedicated to the topic of bathrooms, plumbing and installation. The exhibitors provide information about fittings, equipment and bathroom ceramics as well as about the installations and technology that later disappears behind the wall. The topic of building and living is divided into Halls 21 and 19. Here there is specialist knowledge about the building shell, from the bricks to the windows to the roof, and the interior design.

As always, there are also numerous lectures from major exhibitors such as Energie AG and the Upper Austrian Energy Saving Association on the program. As usual, the latter offers independent and free advice at its stand. The entire program and all other information can be found on the trade fair website at energiesparmesse.at
