The data comes from the latest differential labor market report prepared by the National Institute of Statistics (INE)corresponding to the month of January.

In it, it is detailed that the activity rate of the age group that goes from 14 to 24 years is 45.4%, that the employment rate is 33.1%, while the unemployment rate increased from 26.2% in December 2023 to 27.1% in January of this year.

Unemployment remains higher among women
