The animal got angry when another walker (56) walked past with two dogs. The 34-year-old woman was walking through a forest around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday with her six-year-old son and little daughter (2), who was sitting in a stroller, as well as the American Akita. When another walker with two dogs passed by, she had to hold her dog back. However, he knocked her over and bit her.

56-year-old dog owner as a first aider
The mother called out to the 56-year-old walker to take the children and call emergency services, which she did. When rescue and police arrived, the 34-year-old knelt next to her aggressive dog and held it tightly. The police took over the leash to enable emergency medical care for the injured. She was then taken to Ried Hospital. The animal was later sedated by a veterinary doctor and picked up by the woman’s father-in-law.
