The document of Wide Front It also mentions “the speeches and attitudes that protect rapists and child abusers and that are hidden in political power” and calls for working not only to strengthen the response to gender violence, but also to prevent it.
In an electoral tone, the opposition proposes guidelines that will be part of its program, such as improving sexual and reproductive rights of women and dissidents and advance “inclusive and transformative education, challenging gender roles and stereotypes.”
Lastly, the Wide Front appeals that the preparation of the lists that will compete in the different instances of the 2024 elections be carried out under the criteria of parity. “We appeal to you (…) to give visibility to our colleagues, in a genuine commitment to promoting equitable and fair representation at all levels of government,” she said.
