A 56-year-old from the Perg district and his 27-year-old son-in-law were busy with renovation work on the roof structure of a former agricultural property on Friday evening.
At around 6:20 p.m., the older man was using a chainsaw to cut off elements of the existing roof structure on the tin roof of the winter garden when he lost his footing.
According to police, the 56-year-old fell around five meters into a pile of bulky waste. The son-in-law immediately rushed to help and called the emergency number.
After first aid, the injured person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
