Shortly after the battery was connected to the power supply, it caught fire and set parts of the basement on fire. The owners of the house tried to put out the fire themselves until the fire department arrived.
Thanks to the quick reaction of the residents, who alerted the emergency services in good time, the fire was quickly extinguished and prevented from spreading. No one was injured in this incident.
The police have started an investigation to clarify the exact cause of the fire. The material damage caused cannot yet be quantified. In addition to three fire departments, rescue workers and the police were also on duty.
