The expectant mother was taken to the hospital and her unborn child was not harmed, the “Kronen Zeitung” quoted the hospital as saying on Sunday. The Ried public prosecutor’s office is investigating “attempted serious bodily harm and dangerous threats of death,” said spokesman Alois Ebner to the APA. The woman is in custody.
The incident probably happened last Monday in the youngest sister’s (21) apartment. The 27-year-old pregnant woman was visiting when the suspect also appeared there and attacked the eldest of them. “The motive is still unclear,” said Ebner, but because of the risk of repeat offenses, the 25-year-old was requested to be detained, which has now been imposed. The accused denies everything, the 21-year-old witnesses the attack on the expectant mother.
