The segments that sold the most
The category that sold the most was automobiles with a total of 1,868 units, which represented an increase of 27% compared to the same month last year.
This category is followed by utilitarian with a total sale of 1,762 units, achieving an increase of 47% compared to February of the previous year.
For its part, the sports utility segment (SUV) It also experienced a year-on-year increase of 22.6%, with a total sale of 1,134 over the past month.
The trucks, For their part, they achieved a total sale of 179, representing an increase of 10.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The sale of electric vehicles continues to advance
The electric vehicles continue to set trends in the Uruguay and this time it can be seen in the sales that obtained an increase of 80.92% during the year 2023, compared to the previous year; Within the categories, the SUV trucks that almost quadrupled their sales.
