A shooting threat is currently keeping Garsten (Steyr-Land district) in suspense. The middle school has already been evacuated. “The school is empty and the students and teachers are out of danger,” says Fulya Öncel from the Upper Austrian State Police Department, giving the all-clear.
A large police contingent, including the Cobra and emergency units, is still on site and trying to locate the unknown caller, said Öncel.
