The day after tomorrow, Wednesday, March 13th, the first meeting of the “Junior Maker Pioneers” will take place at the FH Upper Austria, Steyr Campus from 4 p.m. Children between the ages of eight and 14 who want to expand their technical skills and knowledge of renewable energy are invited to this information event with their parents.
At the heart of the “Junior Maker Pioneers” is the principle of “making” in the sense of manual work, crafting and inventing. The focus is on renewable energy technology and environmental protection. In regular meetings, the young “makers” will spend two to three hours working on various projects using various techniques and topics.
Project manager Christian Stadlmann: “Initially we will do small projects together, over time these should be more extensive and self-determined: the children set their own goals and design their own projects.”
Registration for the project at: andrea.holzinger@fh-steyr.at
