The resident of the town of Moosburg discovered the marmoset at the weekend when he looked out of the window, the reptile rescue center in Munich announced on Monday. The man had the presence of mind to grab a banana and lure the monkey into a dog transport cage.
Who owns the monkey?
The animal was then taken to the Munich rescue center. “The monkey doesn’t appear neglected and at least makes a well-groomed and well-fed impression,” said the station’s specialist veterinarian. “We therefore hope that the original owner will contact us promptly.” The authorities have been informed, so that the owner can possibly be found through the necessary species protection report.
